  1. Congratulations, Libby. You are totally authentic, but the sale also helps to validate your investment in what you're passionate about.

I bumped into Bob Manning at Catamount Arts this afternoon while waiting to watch a movie. He was setting up the Catamount Group Show. Mark and I were admiring Ed's piece. "The Grumpy Chief" (my title). Anyway, he made a point of introducing himself then went on to tell us who the artist was, and I made a point of telling him that I've been painting with Ed for almost a year (hard to believe). He then said.."Well, if you're a member of Catamount Arts, (which I told him I am), you should have your work in this show." I laughed, and replied, "Yeah, all two pieces." Anyway, it looks like a really nice exhibit and if anyone is around on Friday you should try to make it to the opening. He was also hoping to meet the elusive Ed.

Oops..Libby, I'm sorry. I was intending to rave about the sale which IS wonderful, but NOT a surprise. You ARE the real thing!

Have a wonderful break down south, and make lots of art.
